For generations, mutual aid has been an important part of living the faith for Anabaptist communities. The idea is based on our heritage of bearing each other's burdens - and assisting each other during times of loss.

At MAX, our fundamental purpose is to further the biblical principles and practice of mutual aid. We offer the following information and opportunities to all of our Anabaptist friends as one way of furthering this ministry.

MutualAid eXchange brings this concept to everything it does. It makes mutual aid real, more tangible. This is how:

• We provide personal service at all times, and services that extend beyond just mailing you a policy reminder or a claim check. During a time of loss or hardship, MAX is there to assist you with anything you need.
• MAX offers services other than just insurance. We want to implement the concept of mutual aid ourselves by providing our members the opportunity to practice Jesus' teaching to love your neighbor as yourself.
• Mutual aid to care for you, insurance to protect you. While our insurance products are second to none, our mutual aid services come first. A special fund is planned to carry out the essence of Mutual Aid. The Share Fund will let us assist anyone who needs extra help. The Share Fund will be there to give you a hand when you have lost your job (or income)... need disaster aid... have a family member needing extreme medical care... or face other special circumstances.
